From all the eye shadows I own, this little Dior palette is the one I always reach for. It is maybe because of the combination of these earthy, warm brown-pink colours allows me to do from a simple eye to a bold, sultry and sophisticated look… Or maybe it is because I simply love Dior eye shadows!
The Dior 5 Colours Eye Shadow Palette #605 Earth Reflections is probably the most popular of the Dior quints, a staple and a best seller in their permanent eye shadows line – a seductive palette of five rich, versatile eye shadow colours.

As per usual, Dior will amaze you with another of its beautiful colour pairings, bringing you very wearable shades within the neutral color spectrum – soft gold/ bronze/ golden pink/ dark brown/ champagne. As if Dior put together this little treasure simply to offer you the experience of a cozy, soft, warm cashmere sweater translated in an eyeshadow.

The shadows are buttery, never powdery nor chalky. What I learned from my previous experiences with Dior is that the shadow stays where you place it. You will never have a fall out! The consistency is smooth, but they also go on just as smoothly. They are all luminous and light reflecting without being too shimmery. If this is still too shimmery for you, just remember to combine the colours with less shimmery or matte eye shadows, for a softer effect!
If I had to buy just one Dior Eye Shadow palette, #605 Earth Reflections would always be the my first choice because the colours are so complementary to my skin tone and I can easily wear these shades anywhere, all year round!
What about you? Which Dior eye shadow palette is your favourite?
See you soon, beautiful!
xx, Annie
INTERESTING FACT:
Christian Dior has always been influenced by Latin America, and Brazil in particular, and its glowing tropical nature. You can easily see these flamboyant influences in his dresses from 1948 onward. Drawing from his passion for exotic nature and animals, the 2013 Summer Look, for instance, is an invitation to a sensual journey through Latin America and its tantalizing colours.
