Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua, Giorgio Armani, holy grail, Luminous Silk Foundation, makeup, review

I have always been a Chanel foundation kind of girl! Don’t get me wrong! I still am! But as a beauty addict, I feel that is my “duty” to try new foundations whenever I get the chance to.

photo 2

The Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation rumbled the beauty world a little while ago. And even if it is quite late, and everybody ( …and their dogs! ) have already posted a review on this, forgive me, but I couldn’t help it! I had to join the crowd and tell you what an amazing base product this is!

It is a liquid foundation which has a fluid, ultra-smooth texture that glides all over the skin and dries to a natural, slightly matte finish. But it is not completely matte it also gives a natural, healthy glow to the skin, accentuating and enhancing at the same time your skin’s features. It is a gorgeous oil-free fluid which features an exclusive Micro-fil technology, that gives an all-day sheer to moderate coverage depending on your necessities. If I want a no-makeup-face I apply it with my Tom Ford #02 Foundation Brush and blend it very well. When I go to an event or I have an important meeting I go for more coverage and I apply the product with a beauty blender ( I’m currently using the Real Technique one ).

The formula contains fragrance ingredients and a small concentration of alcohol known to cause irritation, especially near the eyes. However, the iffy ingredients have no effect on my sensitive skin because they are present in a small percentage.

The Luminous Silk Foundation works best for normal to slightly dry or slightly oily skin, and comes in over a dozen lovely colours, for the fairest to the darkest skin ( 23?! different shades ), more than any foundation I’ve seen before! My shade is #4 and it matches me perfectly!

Untitled

This is THE foundation to use for light coverage and an unbelievably skin-like results, bonus that perfect glow! Smooth and flawless! I think it is the kind of foundation that gets better with time: I put it on before leaving the house and just looks even better after 1 hour. It just responds so well to skin’s temperature as it blends seamlessly, and it does not oxidize throughout the day.

Perfect to use for big events when you are photographed a lot, as it will not make you look like a ghost!

Bottom line: now I have 2 holy grail foundations: the Chanel Vitalumière Aqua ( read the complete review here ) for an everyday use and for special occasions I take out the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation.

Benefit, Benefit They're Real Push-Up Liner, black eyeliner, review, Sephora Romania

photo 2

Two days before its launch, Sephora Romania decided to surprise me with a little Benefit Cosmetics They’re Real Push-Up Liner* goodie in a deluxe sample size and an amazing invitation for two to a pampering session, in one of their brow bars.

So to celebrate the event, of course, a cat-eye look and red lips were mandatory that day! Keep in mind that it was a working day, so you can easily imagine quite the impact I had on everyone! Strange enough, I received more compliments than when I get my projects done before the deadline!…

So here are my first impressions on it!

First of all the sample looks so cute! ( me = sucker for tiny stuff! ) Then, “wow! This has a weird consistency! How I’m I going to put that on?!” But actually it applied really easy, once I figured out how to handle the liner!

photo 3 – check out my attempts/fails! lol

As hopefully you can see, the black is really black and it dries to a matte finish. Once settled, it does not budge the whole day ( even in a hot weather, with a glorious 32° Celsius temperature ), which brings me to my next point…

It really is a pain in the derièrre, pardon my French!, to take off. I used my Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm, which is the best cleansing product EVER ( review here ), then added some Bioderma to remove it!

And another aspect I have noticed was that I had some small fall outs – if that makes any sense, which looked like little scales. But I think that happened because I haven’t “spread” the product equally with the silicone tip, and that allowed the product to dry unevenly and not to adhere to the lid.

Here is the look I went for!

photo 1photo 4

Makeup:

– flawless base courtesy of Mother Nature and enhanced by the Chanel Vitalumière Aqua, shade #B30 Beige ( review here )

– topped with a bit of By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra Powder ( review here )

– cheeks: Chanel Joue Contraste Powder Blush, in #86 Discrètion ( review here )

– for some colour and definition to the face: Guerlain Terracotta Light Sheer Bronzing Powder, in #04 Sun Blonde  ( review here )

– lips: Dior Universal Contour Lipliner and Dior Addict Fluid Stick, in #754 Pandore

– eyes: Lancôme Long Wear Eyeshadow Base, in shade #Nude and, of course, the Benefit They’re Real Push-Up Liner and for mascara the Burberry Effortless Mascara Volumising Lash Enhancer, #01 Midnight Black.

Welcome to Romania Benefit They’re Real Push-Up Liner! Exclusively in Sephora Romania shops starting Friday, the 27th of June  2014.

Have you tried it, yet? What do you think about it?

See you soon, beautiful!

xx, Annie

Yon-Ka Age Defense – natural protection during the day

Yon-Ka Paris is a French brand, born in 1954 in the Multaler Laboratories, a pioneer and leader in the aromatherapy fields. They offer a large selection of skincare for face, body and sun protection, for both men and women, imagined and developed by a family driven by a passion for botanicals.

Pioneers in essential oils therapy, in phytotherapy, phytembryotherapy ( the therapy using vegetal buds ), they apply all this knowledge to create a skincare range to cure various problems with natural ingredients.

photo

Available exclusively in luxury SPAs, the brand Yon-Ka benefits of 60 years dedicated to beauty and relaxation through plants and essential oils.

The Yon-Ka Vital Defense is a daily moisturizer which claims to fight against harmful environment factors, which are the main cause of the “oxidative stress”*, such as: pollution, smoking, UV exposure and climatological variations. This cream smells amazing and it is really hydrating. And it also contains plant extracts, which are meant to preserve the freshness of your skin.

By using this cream, your skin would recover fast its radiance, smoothness, subtle texture and vitality. And it will feel plumped and hydrated during the day. I don’t think it is a magic worker but I highly recommend it as a makeup base!

It contains active ingredients, such as: moringa peptides, organic myrtle, coenzyme Q10, serina ( a natural extract from a dark-skinned variety of grape used to obtain red wine, in Austria ), santal wood extract, barley, sweet orange and mandarin oils, magnolia extracts and vitamin E, C and A.

Have you tried any Yon-Ka products?

See you soon, beautiful!
xx, Annie

INTERESTING FACT:

The name Yon-Ka is made of these two syllable which tell a beautiful story: YON is the river with cleansing waters and at the same time is a corespondent to the positive energetic particle, the ION. And Ka, the concept meaning the eternity in every living creature ( Ancient Egipt ).

The name Yon-Ka reunites two ideas that might seem different at first sight: knowledge and mystery, nature and science, movement and pause, light and darkness.

* The Oxidative stress reflects an imbalance between the systemic manifestation of reactive oxygen species and a biological system’s ability to readily detoxify the reactive intermediates or to repair the resulting damage. Disturbances in the normal redox state of cells can cause toxic effects through the production of peroxides and free radicals that damage all components of the cell, including proteins, lipids, and DNA. Further, some reactive oxidative species act as cellular messengers in redox signaling. Thus, oxidative stress can cause disruptions in normal mechanisms of cellular signaling. Favourite BURBERRY Lip Combo for Hot Summer Days: the Burberry Lip Glow #19 Mallow Pink Natural Lip Gloss and the Burberry Lip Definer in #02 Dusty Rose

Burberry, Burberry Lip Definer #02 Dusty Rose, Burberry Lip Glow #19 Mallow Pink Natural Lip Gloss, lip combo

photo 1

Usually I am not a big lip gloss wearer. But passed the Spring and with the installment of the hot, bright Summer days, I suddenly feel the urge for a bright, glossy lip. It is the sign I am waiting to bring out ( from the depths of my makeup collection drawers ) the few lip glosses I own.

I bought the Burberry Lip Glow #19 Mallow Pink Natural Lip Gloss last summer, in Milan ( yes, I refer a lot to Milan and my trips there – work related or not, because it is my second home! ), together with the Burberry Lip Definer in #02 Dusty Rose. Initially the Burberry makeup artist from La Rinascente paired another lip gloss with this lip liner, a more neutral one. But I thought “It’s summer! I want a brighter lip!” so she suggested the #19. I was sold, obviously!

The gloss is not sticky, made of light oils and spherical powders which give fluidity and comfort to your lips. The fine lines are filled from within and the lips are naturally plumped, thanks to an innovative Ceramide complex which recreates the intercellular cement in your lips. The hydrating formula keeps the lips replenished, moisturized, giving a fresh hint of colour. It is so easy to apply and easy to wear, amazing on the lips on any occasion!

photo

The Burberry Lip Definer in #02 Dusty Rose is a soft and smooth lip liner which adds natural looking definition to the lips, effortlessly enhancing their shape and colour. On their website, Burberry say that the lip definer is: “formulated using natural nourishing oils and amino acid derivatives, the pencils add firmness to the lip contour and smooth fine lines” that explains the effortless application – the texture being not too hard, nor too creamy for the product to wore out too fast or to be difficult to apply. And it doesn’t dry out the way some other lip liners I had, did. Keep in mind I bought it almost an year ago!

It is almost the exact shade of my lips and it is so easy for me to use it with many other lipsticks from my collection!

But together the Burberry Lip Definer in #02 Dusty Rose and the Lip Glow in #19 Mallow Pink create, in my opinion, the perfect combination to wear during the hot Summer days!

What lip colour/combo do you wear during the Summer?

Primers and bases I currently use and love and… one fail! Feat. Chanel, Clarins, Clinique, Sephora

photo

I am a big fan of minimal makeup! Mainly because of sheer lazines, but I also try to make my makeup look as close to natural as possible! So I thought that an extra step added to my makeup routine was going to slow me down and that priming my skin was useless! But how wrong was I?!

It is not that I have big problems with my skin! A bit of enlarged pores and some redness on my cheek areas! But when I started to use primer, I discovered that not only my pores were not that visible anymore and that the redness in my cheeks disappeared, but the texture of my skin was smoother and made foundation application easier, and the makeup did not budged all day long!

My first experience with primers has a bit of drama in it! Oh, well! What would be my life without a bit of a drama!!?? I bought the Too Face Shadow Insurance Primer which turned out to be an empty plastic container. Went to Sephora to change it and I ended out with the Sephora Smoothing Primer.

photo 3

The Sephora Smoothing Primer has a transparent gel texture which smooths skin’s texture and leaves it feeling exceptionally soft. It is a matte finish which makes it suitable for all skin types, oily skin included. It comes in a neutral shade, which is completely translucent and suitable for all skin tones, from very light to very dark. It has no scent and I feel it a bit sticky when I first apply it on my face. Overall, this is an ok product and the glass, elegant 15 ml bottle sold me in the first place! Shallow much!? Price little over 15 €.

photo 2

The next primer I am going to talk about is a recent buy – the Clinique Superprimer Colour Corrects Redness. Lightweight, oil-free primer which creates a smooth canvas for the next step in your makeup routine. It is a yellow based primer meant to correct redness and even out your skin tone. It is a silicone based product which glides on evenly. This is my second favourite primer I have ever tried! It comes in a 30 ml plastic bottle, with a retailing price of 22 €.

photo 4

I saved my best and worst primers for last. Best primer I own is the Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch which shares the title of best priming/base product with another favourite of mine, my most recent purchase the Chanel Le Blanc de Chanel Sheer Illuminating Base, I already reviewed and featured in some earlier posts ( here and here ). Back to the Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch now! This is an “unique makeup base and primer which provides a fine, melting texture that conceals lines, pores, and imperfections in an instant”, at least that is what they claim on their website.

I bought this one not having big expectations! But this is by far the best primer I’ve tested yet and it delivered a very good result. Is a good deal thicker than other primers I’ve tried. In fact, it is safe to call it a paste. But being so thick does not impair its ability to spread – even around the delicate eye areas. It comes in this small 15 ml pot and it is a bit expensive, around 25 €, when the Clinique one is less expensive and you get double the amount of product. I’m inclined to believe that the Clarins primer will be as cost effective or better as other primers, given that I use less of this to achieve a better result.

Then again, I apply all my primers in strategic areas of my face (not all over): a small swipe for each cheek where my pores are visible, nose included, another swipe for theforehead and a final swipe to pat around both eyes. But with the Clarins primer a little bit really goes a long way!

photo 1

The worst base product I own is another Clarins product. The Instant Light Complxion Perfector, in the shade #00 Rose Shimmer. It might work for anyone else, but on myself I really hated it! I already have naturally rosy undertones in my complexion, which I totally hate and try have to correct all the time. What this product succeeds to do is to accentuate and highlight these features. The final result is that I look like a pink disco ball. I have tried other shades too, and none was light enough or warm enough to work for me. I love the concept, hence the Chanel Le Blanc de Chanel Sheer Illuminating Base but not the actual product! Still using it to highlight from time to time though!

What are your favourite primers/bases?

See you soon, beautiful!

xx, Annie

What is in my travel makeup bag…

19 Thursday Jun 2014

By Terry, chanel, Charlotte TIlbury the Sophisticate, clarins, dior, Escentric Molecules, Hakuhodo, Maison Francis Kurkdjian, makeup bag, Tom Ford, travel

This post will be obvious, simple, informative, and quite long…

When it comes to traveling, I try to limit myself and bring with me only the essential makeup products, the ones that are going to help me create multiple looks, without taking too much space in my suitcase.

So this little Zara Home pouch I took with me is great for that. It is a compact little thing but also big enough to hold all my makeup, and my brushes.

photo 1

Here is what I filled my Zara pouch with…

First, BASE products:

– primer Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch. I took this particular one because it has this compact container and although it is silicone based, when I use it my makeup stays on all day.

– foundation Chanel Vitalumière Aqua Skin Perfecting Makeup SPF 15, #30 Beige. You know that this is the foundation I always reach for because it is easy to apply, stays on all day and I also love the finish it gives. I already wrote a complete review about it, link here.

– to correct any dark circles or spots I took this Bourjois Healthy Mix Radiance and Anti-Fatigue Correcting Concealer because it is compact, does the job well and I have to finish it.

– my powder of choice was the By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra Powder. What were you thinking by taking a loose product while traveling?! You might ask… I absolutely adore this powder! It was between that and the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder Palette and I decided to go for the By Terry one because I wanted a matte finish on my complexion, since I think it is more work appropriate. For a full review and ways I use this powder click here.

– the last base product I took with me is a bronzing powder – the Guerlain Terracotta Light Sheer Bronzing Powder, in #04 Sun Blondes. Even if I bought it several months ago, I took it directly from its box. It was absolutely new! I simply swatched it a few times to see how it looks… And it was the best choice I could have made. I used this bronzer for contouring, all-over my face for a healthy look and as a… blush! If you are familiar with the Guerlain Terracotta bronzers you know that they look like a kaleidoscope of colours. This particular shade has a melange of pinks, bronzing shades and darker browns. Well, the pink in the palette was my blush shade… Not for long though, because I really did some shopping makeup-wise while I was in Milan… Oh! This is the makeup bag I took with me to Milan, last month! And it would have been a shame not to!

annie's beauty... CHARLOTTE TILBURY makeup

The EYE makeup:

– a neutral, matte palette is an absolute must for me when I travel, especially if it is a work related trip. This Charlotte Tilbury The Sophisticate Luxury Palette Colour Coded Eye Shadows landed on my door step the day before my departure. And I have to say that I was pretty impressed with the quality of these eye shadow palette. The eye shadows are soft, finely mild, very pigmented and easy to blend. Loved it!

– then my absolute favourite eye product at the moment, the By Terry Ombre Blackstar Colour-Fix Cream Eye Shadow, in #5 Misty Rock. I love it all-over the lid by itself for a soft day look and also combined with other eye shadows for a night out with the girls, in Milan.

– to accentuate my eyes I took the Clarins Eye Pencil, in #02 Brown.

– as for mascara I went for this samples of Dior Diorshow New Look Mascara, in #090 Black and my holly grail mascara the Chanel Le Volume de Chanel Mascara, in #10 Black. I love the two combined or applied by themselves.

photo_1

LIPS. Yeah lip products are my weakness! I said I allow myself to take only three. I ended up with six! And bought a few more while I was there!

So:

– the Dior Lip Glow Colour Reviver Balm – I can not leave the house without

– the Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector, in #06. I love how hydrating this is and not sticky at all. I previously featured it in a post, here.

– my go-to, easy-to-wear lipstick the Chanel Rouge Coco Shine, in #48 Évasion, reviewed here.

– another nude my Tom Ford Lip Colour #13 Blush Nude – simply because

– and finally THE red, you never know when you will need a red lipstick right?! – my Dior Rouge Dior #999 Red, paired with my favourite lip liner the Dior Universal Lipliner Pencil.

annie's beauty... TOM FORD makeup

Went BRUSHES crazy too! So I took with me my old, trusty Samurai Army: my Tom Ford #14 Smokey Eye Brush and the #02 Cream Foundation Brush, and my Hakuhodo brushes: the J210, J5522 for powdering contour and blush, the J5533 an excellent brush to blend eye shadow, the J5529 and G5513 great for precise makeup application. And of course my Shu Uemura S-Curler, my go-to eyelash curler.

Fotor0618155524

The last items in my makeup bag were the ones I used to freshen up – the Chanel Blotting Sheets and a small bottle of Travalo filled with the Caudalie Beauty Elixir.

The other two Travalo‘s were filled with my favourite perfumes: the Escentric Molecule 01 ( reviewed here ) and Maison Francis Kurkdjian‘s Amyris. You can also read more about the Travalo’s by clicking here.

So this much makeup I take with me when I travel. In my defense I have to say that it was a almost two weeks trip!

I hope you enjoy reading this post!

See you soon, Beautiful!

xx, Annie

Simple makeup: Tricks and Tips for more awake, open eyes

Burberry Efortless Mascara, By Terry Cellularose® Blush Glacé, by terry hyaluronic-hydra powder, Collistar Professional Eye-Lip Pencil, eye makeup tricks, Guerlain Teracotta bronzer, MAC Blank Type eyeshadow, Shu Uemura S-curler, YSL Dessin du Regard Eye Pencil Waterproof

I am a big fan of simple makeup! There are days when I use only the basics: some powder ( By Terry Hyaluronic-Hydra Powder, reviewed here ), some bronzer ( Guerlain Teracotta Light, #04 Sun Blondes – my favourite bronzer at the moment ), a flush of blush ( By Terry Cellularose® Blush Glacé, #1 Rose Melba – I wrote a full review on this one last week, link here)… But I feel that my makeup is incomplete if I do not have my lashes on. And I am not talking about falsies! Being the lazy, two-left-handed-person I am, putting false lashes on turns out to be a real adventure! So I’m saving those for special occasions!

photo

Anyway… Here is what I do to look human in the morning! Base applied I follow this simple technique, I saw my favourite Wayne Goss doing a demo on:

Step I: with my eyelash curler of choice ( at the moment, I enjoy using the new Shu Uemura S-curler, because it allows me to control the areas where I want my lashes to be more curled ) I clamp the lash at their base and give them several squeezes.

Step II. It is as easy as the first one! All you need to do is to recurl them! But you have to make sure you get all the lashes ( … and, as less skin as possible… preferably none! ), then squeeze and lift your eyelash curler handle upwards and push it in like I did in the picture. Make sure not to press too hard because you will be left with marks from the eyelash curler onto your skin!

photo 4 – this is how you should position your curler!

You can see already, in the next picture, what big of a difference curling your lashes like this makes! And because now the lashes are so curled and you had pushed them in during this technique, the lashes are getting really long that there is a chance your mascara will transfer on your eyelids, when you will apply it. So be careful with that!

It is safe to repeat this technique until you are pleased with how your lashes look – as long as you do not squeeze too hard to make your poor lashes come off!

photo 5 – left eye – eyelashes curled Step I and II

You can see in the pictures below, since I don’t have much makeup on, that the the one standing out is the eye I curled my lashes with this technique and applied the mascara ( Burberry Efortless Mascara, in #01 Midnight Black ). The whole eye looks so open!

For an even more awaken eye, what I like to do is to take a black kohl ( I pretty much enjoy this YSL Dessin du Regard Eye Pencil Waterproof, in #01 Black Velvet at the moment ) and place it in my tideline. Tidelining is a step I thought it was useless until I first tried it ( on Lisa Elridge recommendation, obviously! ). Now that I saw the amazing full lashes effect it gives and how it intensifies the look, it turned into a must in my makeup routine, even for a simple eye makeup look.

photo 1

– left eye: eyelashes curled, mascara on, tidelined, nude eyeliner in the waterline

Another trick I am not leaving the house without is to highlight the inner corners of the eye ( any highlighting eyeshadow would be just fine, today I used MAC‘s Blank Type ). And because my eyes tend to look perpetually tired and irritated I choose to add a nude eyeliner in my waterline ( I used the Collistar Professional Eye-Lip Pencil, in colour Butter ).

Here is the final result for a better comparison!

See you soon, beautiful!

Cheek Candy – the By Terry Cellularose® Blush Glacé, #1 Rose Melba from SS 2014 Collection

#01 Rose Melba, Blush Glacé, By Terry, Cellularose SS2014 Collection, photos, review, swatches

I know! I know!… The By Terry Cellularose® SS2014 Collection was released several months ago. But, hey, the Hydra-Radiance Aqua Blush is a product for Spring and Summer… and for any time the of year, if you want to! It is a versatile product and I know I will use it whenever I will feel like! And next I am going to tell you why…

photo

The By Terry Cellularose® Blush Glacé is a quenching blush thanks to an ultra-fresh gel texture which looks like a marshmallow ( it has more of a gel-like consistency, bouncy and concentrated at the same time ). It flushes your cheeks with a cool burst of watercolour for a long-wearing healthy glow. It smooths the complexion and protects the skin giving light transparent coverage, similar to a radiance veil. A satiny finish with a vitamin-packed glow!

It contains White Rose Native Cells for a radiance effect, ultra-hydrating phospholipids for a soothing and refreshing effect, Vitamin E for extra-protection and “cello-sheer” pearlescent pigments ( boron, nylon and polyamide microspheres ) to give you radiance and a silky effect to your cheeks.

blushglace

It is available in three shades: #1 Rose Melba, #2 Flower Sorbet and #3 Frozen Petal. I’m pale that is why I chose the #1, Rose Melba. It adds a real, but discrete warmth and even a glow to my rather pale face.

Ignore the cheesy descriptions in the picture above! Although I have to agree with those on one thing: the “retro pink” Rose Melba is delicious indeed! It almost looks like a candy in its little matte glass pot!

Fotor0604132430

– By Terry Cellularose® Hydra-Radiance Aqua Blush #1 Rose Melba, one swatch ( left picture ) and heavily swatched ( right picture ), in daylight

“Stretches as much as necessary in an aquarelle blend” and you will only need the tiniest amount to put on your cheeks. It is also easily buildable in case you want a statement blush for your cheeks and not only a flush of colour. It blends very well with your foundation and it will last you through out the day!

It has a strong rose scent, which at times can be overpowering.

I used to apply this blush with my fingers until I was recommended to use a stippling brush. The one I’m currently using is possibly the cheapest brush in my collection, an E.L.F. Studio Small Stipple Brush. I like it because it has small, stiff yet soft synthetic hairs which will pick up the right amount of product and will blend it like a dream into your foundation. This little brush works wonders with all my cream products! And until my Hakuhodo order arrives, this little fellow does an amazing job! ( update: my Hakuhodo‘s did arrived; see the review on my eye brush collection here )

photo_2 – the light is a bit crappy, but hopefully you can see Rose Melba on my cheeks

On my face:

– By Terry Sheer-Expert Fluid Foundation, #7 Vanilla Beige

– By Terry Hyaluronic-Hydra Powder, previously reviewed here

– By Terry Cellularose® Hydra-Radiance Aqua Blush, #1 Rose Melba

– Chanel Le Volume de Chanel #10 Black Mascara

– By Terry Baume de Rose IP/SPF 15, on my lips

Right now By Terry has all of her products discounted. The promotion goes on the By Terry website, but also on other retailers like SpaceNK.

So happy shopping, beautiful!

See you soon!

xx, Annie

 Fotor060610631

It seems like this is the week of major beauty events!

After the official release of one of my all-time favourite product the By Terry Baume de Rose in a Tinted Balm form which happened yesterday ( read full post on that here ), another favourite beauty brand comes out with an amazing news!

Burberry launched today their new Fresh Glow B.B. Cream SPF 20, along with a selection of three Fresh Glow Blushes and two Fresh Glow Luminous Fluid Bases!

On their website, Burberry kindly invites us to discover the Fresh Glow B.B. Cream, “the skin perfecting beauty balm that helps recreate the fresh, healthy-looking glow of a youthful complexion. The light-diffusing complex instantly helps enhance skin luminosity and tone, while skin-matched colour pigments give a harmonised, natural-looking finish.

Enriched with our signature blend of rosehip, tea and lavender extracts, the lightweight, breathable formula helps protect from the damaging effects of the sun, while moisturising extracts help enhance hydration.”, they say.

Untitled1

The first three shades are targeted towards Caucasian skin types, that is why the Fresh Glow B.B. Cream has an SPF of 20 when the last two shades are specially formulated in suitable shades for Asian skin, plus features SPF 30 PA+++ to shield against UVA and UVB rays.

The Fresh Glow Blush is a sheer cheek stick that gives a dewy flush of colour. Easy to use, the innovative formula is blended with over 50% water and has an instant cooling sensation on the skin. Simply one swipe of the Fresh Glow Blush over the apples of the cheeks and you will have a translucent wash of colour, as well as a healthy-looking glow.

Available in three shades for a retail price of 31 € / 5g.

The effortless formula of the new Fresh Glow Luminous Fluid Base offers a spectrum of skin benefits and multiple effects, from instant golden radiance to moisturisation, while gently protecting from pollution. An ultra-fine illuminator, it gives naturally bronzed luminosity and light diffusion, while the anti-age agents in its formula help restore skin’s elasticity and wild rose extracts increase hydration levels.

The multi-effect formula can be used in more than one way:

– on nude skin for a moisturising natural healthy glow

– as a hydrating and luminising primer under foundation

– blended into foundation for a warm radiance boost

– to add golden highlights to nude or made-up skin, apply to cheekbones, the bridge of the nose, Cupid’s bow and chin

Available in two shades, for the retail price of 41 € / 30 ml.

You can purchase the new Burberry Fresh Glow B.B. Cream, the Fresh Glow Blush and the Fresh Glow Fluid  online directly from their website and soon, hopefully, at your local Burberry counter, for a retail price of 40 € for/30 ml.

What are you waiting for??? I ordered mine already!

See you soon with a review on that, beautiful!

xx, Annie
