In my previous post I told you all you needed to know about the concept behind the makeup look Monsieur Peter Philips – the new Creative and Image Director of Dior Makeup created for Dior Couture A/W 2014-2015 Collection.
Here you have the products he used to bring to life this concept.
He started by applying the Dior Diorskin Star Foundation ( read full post about its release here ) to perfect the skin, and on drier complexions he preferred the Capture Totale.
For blush, he applied a touch of Dior Blush in #881 Rose Corolle and to highlight he used another blush in #421 Starlight – available internationally in October.
For the natural, soft eye he used the pastel shades: the white and the yellow from the forthcoming Candy Choc from Dior Fall 2014 5 Couleurs Palette, the Clashing Shock Harmony collection, available from 3rd September. He then added a bit of white kohl crayon in the waterline to soften the look even more.

On top of that the added the contrasting graphic element, the mirror eyeliner.
He did not wanted for the lip to steal the attention from the eyes, so he used #123 Trompe L’Oeil from the Dior Nude Lipstick Collection to neutralize the natural pigmentation of the lips.
The nails were short and nude, with only one coat of gel polish in #108 Muguet ( my favourite nude at the moment too! link to my Instagram photo wearing Muguet, here )
And this is the look he achieved: natural eyes with a statement eyeliner and defined brows to balance the look.
One particularity of this look is what Peter Philips called the “empty eye”. What he meant by that is he DID NOT applied mascara on the lashes! Like this the main focus is exclusively on the mirror eyeliner.
So, did you took notes? Have you “enriched” your wish list? I sure have added a few items to my never ending one!
See you soon, beautiful!
xx, Annie

Cool! Looking forward to your post then! Mhm…YSL lip products…still among my favorites ever, together with Dior and Guerlain, (but the latter more for the awesome package, rather than the formula) but wasn’t it all about drugstore goods?? 😀 😀 😀
