I really had a hard time deciding which blushes to feature in my Summer of 2014 Bronzed, glowing, healthy summer Tip #8 Flushed Cheeks. In the end I went for two of my Tom Ford favourites. But it is not like I was using only those two. There were another two on ( heavy! ) rotation on my makeup routine!

They are the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes in Ethereal Glow and Dim Infusion, everyone knows and talks about.

These hybrid blushes with an innovative formulation, which combines the customized lighting effects of the Ambient Lighting Powder ( review here ) with an infusion of unseen before modern colors. The texture of the product is airy, lightweight and deliver seamless, soft-focus colour and a healthy, luminous, natural finish.

Hourglass products are paraben, talc, fragrance, nano-particle  and gluten free.

My most loved Ambient Lighting Blush, is also my first Hourglass purchase: Ethereal Glow, a cool pink blush infused with the Ethereal Light Powder for a moonlit luminosity. I know that there are a lot of mixed reviews on this one, but let me start by telling you that this is one very, very light pink blush, almost white. There is not a lot of colour to it, but enough to bring a bit of life to my complexion. For me that is definitely a plus since my go-to makeup look is the natural look.

I have really been enjoying the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush, in Dim Infusion too. This one is a subdued coral blush infused with the Dim Light Powder to add warmth to any complexion. Excellent during this time of year, when I am a bit tanned, to make the tan stand out even more.

To apply them I use this amazing Hakuhodo J210 round blush brush, which is dense enough to pick up the exact amount of product I need for the whatever look I go for. Then I tap the blush onto the apples of my cheeks and blend up, towards my temples. And I am done!

See you soon, beautiful!
