Now there is no need tho choose between something that’s natural and something that works!
Daily Mail
Until recently I did not payed too much attention to what I used to call “cleansing”. Don’t get me wrong! I did cleanse on a daily basis but I used to think “I have to do it!” because I had to take off my makeup anyway! So I used to use cleansing products instead of makeup removers! And it worked just fine!
But starting last year, when I bought my first Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel I wanted it to last me longer – first of all because it is truly amazing, and second because it is not the cheapest cleanser out there. So I started to use it after I took my makeup off with my makeup remover!
The result?! Not only my skin looked cleaner/clearer and nourished, but the imperfections I was dealing with were visibly diminished.
My advice: ladies, let’s use our skincare for the purpose it was made for!
Back to the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel Illuminating Vitamin Facial Cleanser now! It is a facial cleansing gel enriched with Vitamins A, C and E, Omega 6, Pumpkin Enzymes, Chamomile and Rose extracts formulated by a team doctors, nutritionists and cosmetic scientists to provide the best cleansing process according to your skin needs.
In the morning I take one pump of this directly on my hand, massage it onto my dry face and here is where the magic happens! It transforms from a gel into an oil which is quite a nice feeling, and when I add water it transforms into a smooth lotion. Then I take my muslin cloth and clean everything, massaging my face with circular motions to make sure all the oils and impurities my face accumulated over night come off.
The reason why I like this cleanser in the morning is because it leaves my skin feeling nourished. It does not feel stripped of its oils at all but very clean at the same time; the right balance between the two actions.
The 100 ml bottle lasts me for a good 4 to 5 months of daily usage.
The Oskia Renaissance Mask Nutri-Active Brightening & Resurfacing Mask is the face mask my face needs in this transitional weather.
Enriched with MSM’s, Passion Fruit AHA’s, Papaya Enzymes, Swiss Garden Cress Liposomes, Ribose and Butterbur to mention just a few ingredients, this luxuriously-textured exfoliating mask leaves the complexion feeling smoother, more refined and illuminated. It has major anti-ageing benefits, with a blend of ingredients naturally certified.
The tired cells from the superior layers of the epidermis are gently removed stimulating skin regeneration through it’s own moisturizing processes; smoothes, softens, reduces the appearance of fine lines, imperfections and refines complexion and increases radiance through increased cell respiration. Deep cleanses, reduces pore size, blockages and spot formation.
Not sure about the “improving appearance of fine lines” claim but I have to agree with ALL the other ones. My skin never felt better!
Oh, and the scent! 50 ml of delicious goodness smelling like roses, passion fruit and chamomile!
Originally peachy-pink in the pan, when massaged into the skin, in contact with your skin temperature it turns white. That is when you will know your mask is applied correctly!
I use it once a week, applied onto dry, freshly cleansed skin and leave it on for 10-15 minutes, then gently wash it off with warm water.
Both products are recommended for all skin types and I have to say that my sensitive skin enjoys them very much!
And when my skin is happy, so I’m I!
See you soon, beautiful! But before You go, please share with us your magical skincare products!
xx, Annie

Hi lovely! Here’s 8.12 PM and we just got home! We went fishing this weekend because the weather was so kind to us that we had over 20 degrees Celsius, sun and no wind. 😉
Yeeees! I have a lot of skin care posts scheduled! Because of the weather changes I had to change my skin care products to more emollient and hydrating ones. Plus I got to try new stuff which turn out to be the best “stuff” I ever got to use on my skin!
So stay tuned, there’s more to come! 😉
Lots of xx

Hi Dina! Thanks for stopping by! You’re right! The price on Oskia products is a bit of a turn off but believe me they are amazing! And we deserve some amazing treats from time to time, right? 😉

I’ve heard good things about this cleanser, but for now I think I’ll stick with my budget friendly (but still awesome) CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser. If I’m ever in the mood for a pamper I’ll pick one of these up! For me the FutureDerm Retinol is an absolute lifesaver. I had some horrible cystic acne going on and this cleared it up so well, and as a bonus it fades dark spots too. When I finish my first bottle I’m going to do a before/after post that I’m hoping will be helpful.

Hi beautiful! I’ve never tried the cleansers you’ve mentioned so I can’t wait to read the review you’re planning to write! 😉 I was a big fan of foaming cleansers too until I discovered that my tap water is ruining my skin! Now I’m a big fan of oil and gel cleansers and I use water just to keep my muslin cloth clean and it’s not that drying anymore! 😉 xx

Gotcha, that makes sense. I think the tap water where I live is pretty good relatively speaking, but that’s something to keep in mind if I ever move!

You’re lucky then! 🙂 I’ve never thought tap water could be so damaging for my skin! Lesson learned! 😉
