Yes, this is such a gorgeous colour! Every Spring I bust out some bright fuchsias!… Last year was Chanel La Diva, but it was a softer les bright colour and matte. Lovely nevertheless!

Michiyo is really something else! It was the one that I wasn’t too sure I’d love it or not, but I felt it was calling my name! And boy, I’m I glad I got it!?! She is “special”! And now it’s just about the right time to wear it!

Yeah I know it’s very strange and I can just tell that I will probably have a nap during the day as well. I think it’s my pain medication that makes me sleepy at odd times lol. I’d rather be sleepy than in pain though. 🙂 ❤ xx

Ah, my lovely! Michiyo is not as scary as it may seem! Actually I was kind of intimidated when I first saw it live! You know the whole drill with not having a counter here and having to blind ordering it online?! 😩😔
But when I first wore it on my lips, I was completely mesmerised by it! I love this kind of bright, fuchsia shades anyway! This time last year I was wearing to death two similar shades Chanel La Diva ( matte ) and Dior Allegresse ( LE ).
But Michiyo is wayyy prettier! 😻💕🌸🎀

No NARS and no Urban Decay?! Annie how do you cope? I have to say I am yet to even try one thing from NARS, but I’m determined! Next time I’m in my nearest department store I’m going to ask to try this on my lips! I do love pinks and fuchsias, so I’m sure I’ll love it.

Without online shopping I don’t know what I’d do! Plus, there always seems to be exclusive offers online which you can’t get in store, so you’re probably saving yourself money in the process!

Yes I wish the UK had a Sephora! I’m so annoyed that we don’t, because brands like Tarte, Kat Von D, Makeup Forever – we can’t get them here at all, unless you ship from America! And that can get pretty expensive! xxx

And OMG! 🙀 you absolutely need to try on a NARS Audacious lippie! Besides the fact that the colours scheme is so various ( that would be another thing to worry about, but later when you’ll have to pick the shades to bring home with you! ) the formula on these is beyond amazing! Creamy, lightweight, opaque and surprisingly long lasting!

Yes, these kind of colours might look pretty intimidating at a first look!… But OMG! They are so so gorgeous on the lips! Applied at its full power or simply gently dabbed on the lips, as a stain!

Well, ma belle, for as cute as I’d look wearing my lovely girl Michiyo, I sure think I’d kind of shock a business partner or two with my “obvious” pout! You know, dress code, makeup code and crap like that! Wearing Arthur in Milan was a bold move already, but I could get away with wearing it as it was considered a sign of power and determination, being a red lipstick! Even if it was quite bright, we all kind of felt we were allowed little extravagances since we felt the holiday bug… on a oh, so serious!, business trip! LOL

I understand the hesitation at bending makeup dress code for sure! I’m always so cautious about that (living and growing up in Southern Utah where the population predominantly belongs to the Church of Later Day Saints — a very conservative Christian sect). You just look so darn classy no matter what you wear on your lips! And, the emollients in Arthur make him so forgiving and wearable. Oh, the wide world of lipsticks… It’s so much fun. I still really want to add a few more Rouge Cocos to my line up!!

As for the Diptyque candles, surprise surprise, they are some of my favourites too. And that purely because there’s not even one in the entire range the scent of which isn’t long lasting!
As for the scents! That’s more difficult, simply because scent is a very personal choice! What I might simply adore, you can as well hate it!
But I can share with you my absolute and most bought ones! I will always have in my collection the Baies scent and the Fuguier one! They work amazingly burnt together and separately as well! I’m not big on florals but the Violette one smells lovely! Menthe Verte is a very refreshing scent as well! I also love 34 Rue de Saint Germain candle!
You can find them in different firms as well: room sprays, scented ovals and diffusers! Check those out as well!
