Yes, Greta is a lovely shade as well! As all the NARS Audacious lipsticks! But this is such a great alternative if you want to wear a red but no quite… If that makes any sense! 😅
Reds can be intimidating at times, so an “almost-red” can be the solution! 👌🏼💕

Thank you Annie. I am so glad to have finally gotten some decent sleep too. Though I am still having some pain issues and I tend to take naps during the day. I just don’t feel too well lately to be honest. 😦 Hopefully I will feel a bit better soon.
I will try to do a post with red lips soon! I feel a little behind on my blogging lately though because I haven’t felt too well. Hopefully I can get another post ready soon. Today is just not the day though. I hope that you’re having a much better day my sweet Annie!

Haha! You’re right! This week’s posts kept me entertained and busy at the same time! Committing to a full week of posts it’s quite demanding and a bit stressful, as it’s a bit difficult to avoid repeating yourself and having a fresh approach on your posts… Plus mine was a mini-series, so I was basically talking about the same product, the difference being made only by its colour!

Yeah I know you were talking about how they didn’t have any there which is too bad. It’s like Christmas for me every month lol. I think I want to sign back up for Birchbox again sometime because I miss their points system and trying out nice new products. Birchbox is one that has a lot of nice high-end items that they introduce you to. I would get points for every box I wrote, each review I wrote, and for buying in their store. Every 100 points is $10 and they accumulate pretty fast! 🙂 Lots of xx

You should start with these NARS lipsticks… So many gorgeous shades! And the formula is one of the best as well, so there are less chances to be put off!

Ahhhh! Bite Beauty! 😩😔 It’s one of those brands everyone talks about any I can only dream of! They’re not available in Europe!.. Same as Fresh, Josie Maran, Kate Somerville and other cool American brands!

Oh my lovely Stephie, I sure know what you’re talking about! I kind of build my Spring lipstick wardrobe with these NARS Audacious lipsticks and now I’m looking for some nudes and some bold colours to wear in the colder months!

Yeees! They did such an amazing job with these Audacious lipsticks! The colour range is amazing and the formula is so lightweight and comfortable, even though it’s so so pigmented! Literally one swipe is enough!

I definitely used Tea Rose as a crease colour since it does have some shine to it but not over the top! I haven’t tried it combined with a formula and finish like Shell ( purely because I don’t have shell in my collection YET! ), but I’m sure the two of them would look pretty amazing together!
So yes, I would give this combo a go!
In fact as soon as I get Shell I will try them both on! 😉😁😋

Tea Rose is a lovely shade indeed! Mins that it’s available in two formulas an almost matte finish and one with slight shimmer in it! I have a comparison between the two in this post here if you care to take a look!

Yes, Greta is a beautiful colour! Not too red – which can be a bit too intimidating for this warm, soft, timid Spring weather we have here, not too bright of a pink like Michiyo from yesterday’s post! Just the perfect combination between the two! And that makes it so wearable and suitable for so many skin tones!

we were fortunate enough to have two absolutely beautiful spring weeks with warn weather and blue, clear sky and that mood-lifting mild light! this this kind of weather brings out the positivity in any pessimist, I swear! LOLOLOL
as for our spring plans, we want to start working on our orchard and for that we need some fresh soil. fingers crossed this year we’ll be able to eat our own apples, from our own little orchard! :D:D:D
we also have a few family events and some weddings as well! I hope it will be fun!… and the weather as great as it was until now!

Darn. I feared that was the case. WordPress gave me an error. Anyway, I had said that I’m excited for your orchard. I had one at my last residence. I had about a dozen chickens, several different types of fruit trees and a large garden space. It was wonderful. What’s your orchard like?

We have about 120 surviving apple trees, on their fourth year already ma belle! We’re expecting decent fruits this year! But taking care of them is so demanding! But the satisfaction is on the measure as well!
We also have a few grapevine pieces for our own pleasure that we enjoy every Autumn! 😁👌🏼

I get migraines, too. They’re terrible (!), and those who have have never had one don’t understand what they are (not a headache). They’re debilitating! Thank goodness for ‘tryptan’ medications. I didn’t know about them until my late twenties. I hope you’re feeling better, ma belle!!

Vera was initially the first on in my wish list but then I’ve changed my mind and went for Greta instead! I was looking for brighter colours to wear in this springy type of weather we’re currently having and I thought that Vera was a bit too dar, a more deep, smoked red, more suitable for autumn-winter! But Vera is definitely another gorgeous, gorgeous shade as well!

It swatches a little brighter than it looks but I get what you mean, I bought it in October and want a spring friendly shade too – although have still been wearing Vera as I love it! X

I’m pretty sure there was one called Anna which I was between buying with Vera but decided on one before I splashed the cash! Think I need to get back to a counter though and check as they’re so pricey 🙂 x

This is a really gorgeous shade on you. It’s perfect! I’m so afraid of red. I might try this one though. Why I can feel confident wearing Pink Nouveau to work by MAC and not a more classic yet subdued red like this I do not know! I just have to go for it.

Greta it’s not a pure red, in the true sense of the colour! As I was always saying it’s the perfect balance between pink and red, which makes it more appropriate for an everyday wear!

i know. I know. Well, the Pink Nouveau was a break through at work just a few weeks ago. So, today is Sephora day. (Hehe) and I’m going to pick it up and wear it next week. Thanks Annie! I’m going for it! Will post a pic next week too.

There really is one called Anna lovely! I can tell since it was the first shade to go on my list, since it’s my name anyway! Haha! But I went for Anita instead! Still one that wears my name! 😋 Ahh! And that Vera!!! I keep thinking about it since you mentioned it! 😁😁😁
