Ahh, it’s Sunday again and another beautiful week has come to an end!
And it was such a special, unusual one here at annie’s beauty… All thanks to these seven amazing NARS Audacious lipsticks that kept all of us entertained throughout this whole week!
I hope you had as much fun reading all my posts this week, as I had writing them!
Here you have the last makeup look, a more smart-casual one, starring Juliette – the most beautiful “pink coral” lipstick in my entire collection!

Haha! Nudes are usually my first option as well! But this time I decided to step out of my comfort zone and go for some brighter ones! And boy, I’m I glad I did!?

The NARS week was so much fun, but also so so demanding! I wanted everything to be perfect, demand which always comes with a bit of stress and emotions included! Haha!
And you’re definitely right! Every time I see a NARS Audacious lipstick that I don’t own, it instantly goes on my To Buy List! LOL
Even the darkest ones! Gosh I love Ingrid so bad, and Liv and Jeanne… This A/W will be amazing!
Maybe I should repeat the One Week experience with NARS Audacious lipsticks in Autumn as well… What do you think? Should I?

Omg yes you should!!! I love all of those and wear Ingrid and Jeanne the most. I was so sad when I accidentally dropped Jeanne but she forgave me lolol That would be a fun post but like you said a bit stressful but now you know what to expect so not too bad at all ❤ I can’t wait for it even though it will be months away hahaha ❤ ❤

OMG! You dropped Jeanne!? And the aftermath? Was she ok?
I dropped my LE Hourglass Powder Palette a while ago and I’ve reduced it to pieces! 😩😔😰 So you can imagine the drama! The crying! The cursing! ( but shh! Don’t tell about the last part! 😔 ) But I’m still using it like this, too bad I cannot photograph it anymore!
I will definitely repeat the lipstick week with NARS, because you’re right, now I know what to expect! And it’s such a glorious excuse for buying lipsticks that I don’t even need! LOL 😁😁😁😋😉

She got chipped on the edge but my worse was Fanny 😦 My son dropped her on accident while he was trying to help me organize and I cried for that one because I didn’t even use her yet and she was ruined. At least with Jeanne I used her a bunch and a small chip wasn’t too bad since I used her a lot it is already disappearing. I still haven’t used Fanny because I can’t bear to look at her ruined state 😥 OMG on the HG I would have had the same reaction. I am happy you are able to still use it but omg that is terrible news about it being broken 😥

Yeah, I’m still able to use the Hourglass Palette because fortunately it didn’t opened when it hit the floor! Otherwise I would’ve had pieces of blush scattered all-over the floor! I managed to separate the blushers and I do my best to use them like this! But as carefully as I can! 😳😓
But yeah, it still pains me to even look at it! 😔💔💔

Omg I bet!! 😩😩😩😩 They really need to make that palette permanent!!! Sadness for the both of us 😢 Also I went to the mall today and they didn’t have Orange Intense but they had the illuminating powder which I almost bought but the customer service was a mess so instead I bought the Laura Mercier Indiscretion at Sephora and absolutely love it! I will post pictures tomorrow 😃

I called the one in Chicago and they are shipping it to me so I’m excited when it gets here to send it straight to you! I got worried last night it might sell out before I got there so I called my favorite Nordstroms and they had it! So beautiful! I was at Sephora today, so of course, I was checking them all out. I’m trying to save for my wedding and moving so I didn’t buy any….but I am so tempted!

Probably not for a while! My fiance has allergies so he wants a late summer or fall wedding and we obviously didn’t have enough time to do it this fall

I totally get it! I deal with my allergies every late Spring to mid Summer as well, when Claritine is my best friend as well as Hydrocortisone shots, for real emergencies! But oh, well!… It is how it is! No worries there’s still plenty of time to organise yourselves and have the wedding next year! 😌

Haha! Hourglass has such amazing products! I have tons of highlighters in all shapes and forms and the only one I always return to is the Incandescent Light from the Ambient Lighting Palette. The blushers are absolutely lovely as well; I own and use 5 two in full sizes and three in the Ambient Lighting Blush Palette.
ALL of them are already reviewed here on the blog, with swatches and all, and featured in numerous looks!
And yes, they’re versatile as well! In fact, I tend to use all my products not only for what they’re meant to be used, be it makeup or brushes! And it works every time! 😁😁😁😉😋👌🏼

I’ve always red and followed blogs out here before they even were “a thing” and watched YT videos, but never had the “mandarins” to start my own… but with “a little” – to be red a lot – of convincing work and support from my dearest friends, annie’s beauty… has come to life, on February 10th 2014!

Q3: What do you find the most challenging about blogging?
the most challenging is to photograph your products! you need the right light, the right setup, you need to be careful about composition, arranging your products, angle, exposure, and a whole lot of such technical details… if you’re interested in taking a good picture that is!
I personally think a good picture can save an “uninspired” blog post ( what?! you’ve all heard about the infamous “writer’s block”?! we’ve all been there!!! )…
and, as a personal preference, I mainly choose to follow blogs that put a visible effort into taking their photography!

first of all to have the courage to do it!
know what you want to write about and the people you’re addressing to!
be constant with your posts!
find your own writing style! be original!
PUT EFFORT IN TAKING YOUR PICTURES!
respect other people’s work – give credits!
be honest in expressing your thoughts!
don’t expect instant rewards, gifts and fame, and above all don’t ask for them… work hard for that instead!
be friendly and respectful to everyone!

The weather is beyond amazing and the fish is biting like crazy which is always good and entertaining at the same time! Yeah, not too much of a gurly gurl rgink to do on a Sunday, but I’ve always been “one of the boys” anyway! 😁😁😁 I was the smallest of the girls/nieces, single child, who grew up amongst my cousins who were all boys! LOL

Hi Annie, Juliette seems to be the most happy summer colour. I’m more drawn to it atm 🙂 I haven’t tried any of the new Nars lipsticks. Must check out the range next time I’m near Oxford Street.

I think that Juliette is the most wearable shade, along with Marisa I wore on Monday! So if you ask me these two don’t have to miss from any lipstick collection! If you want to feel adventurous and step out of your comfort zone Michiyo is the best to do that!
I sure hope you won’t change your mind on Tuesday because your two favourites are lovely as well!

Ahhh, the fishing trip is amazing! We have to most beautiful weather, we caught lots of fish and we’re having such a great time!
And above all we still have our phone signal and we haven’t lost our internet connection as well! Haha! 😁😁😁
