Confession time: I miss Summer already!…
… But I can’t wait to wear those gorgeous Autumnal colours at once!
With that thought in mind, I recreated for you my go-to Summer 2015 look that revolves around glowing skin, peachy-nude lips, cheeks and lids and lots of mascara!

My lip products of choice for this look was a combination of 2 products you might have seen already if you’re a long-time follower of annie’s beauty… .
After applying my lip conditioner ( my favourite at the moment is by Hampton Sun ), I used the CHARLOTTE TILBURY Lip Cheat in Pink Venus ( full review here ) to define my lips following their natural shape, and to fill them in. What I liked to do was to work really well the product into my lips with my fingers and reapply it! I found out that by doing so, the colour lasts longer on my lips, even with a lip gloss on top.
My lip gloss of choice was the BURBERRY Lip Glow No.9 Nude Beige ( full review here ) that comes in one of the most amazing formulas. Not too sticky and with the perfect intensity of shine! Not to mention that they come in an array of shades ( check them out on Burberry’s website ).
The final result – a gorgeous peachy-nude shade that went so well with so many different looks I wore this past Summer, from going out for a brunch with the girls to a lovely dinner out with Mr. G.

The Burberry BB is to die for but it might be a little too much to handle for oily skins! Nothing much though! Nothing that could not be controlled with a bit of powder!

Of course! I could see myself wearing this look quite easily 🙂 I love the Charlotte tilbury lip cheat in Pillow Talk, I like to pair it with MAC Brave or peach blossom both of which are more pinky nudes but I love it as this combo works all year round! Xxx

OMG, I dropped my Ambient Lighting Palette last year on Day 2 of having it. Devastating. I was in a hotel rushing around and it just flew out of my hand. As I saw it come crashing down and all the product explode out of it, I was stunned.

One of the most traumatic experiences with makeup I went through!

We must think alike because this has been my nude lip combo for a bit now! Except I usually add something like Tom Ford’s Blush Nude with it because my lips are so pigmented. Looks gorg on you!

You know I’m not the biggest fan of lipglosses either! But there’s something about these Burberry ones that I’m always drawn to them! And over a lip liner or a lipstick they are simply amazing!
Plus they’re not as sticky as the Chanel Glossimers or the Dior ones!

Love this look. I’ve been so impressed with Burberry’s makeup. They’re amazing. Will definitely give that nude beige shade a try. Looks like the perfect nude that still looks alive.

Nude lip shades are such a personal thing in my opinion… Like skincare! What works for me might as well not work for you! But if your skin tone is similar to mine, go ahead! Treat yourself! The quality is definitely spot on! 👌🏼😌xx

Yes will do 😊 generally those type of nudes suit me thought they won’t look the same as they do on u. I’ve got uber light olive skin that’s also very neutral and gets more yellow toned during summer. So… It’s complicated! Lol. But you’re right, I shall go and try at Burberry some time soon… Been wanting to colour match their foundation anyway . Thx for the tip! Xx
