This is a one-of-a-kind makeup collector piece and I’ve been absolutely obsessed with it ( along with other ever-so-many beauty enthusiasts?! )! It’s the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Christmas 2015 Palette, filled with the most magical things you’ll ever see: fairy dust in the form of finishing powders, highlighters, blushers and bronzing powders…
I can actually hear myself dismissing this Palette when it first released. I had most of the shades in it ( Mood Exposure and Luminous Flush – review here, and Dim Light ) and I was only interested in getting the bronzing shade…
In the meanwhile disaster stroke!…
I managed to reduce to pieces my L.E. Ambient Lighting Blush Palette containing the two blushers mentioned above ( well done Self! – NOT!!!!?!?!! )…
As for Dim Light, I almost hit pan on it since it has been my go-to powder for setting my makeup, for the longest time. So another purchase would’ve been inevitable anyway!
So why not get me this gorgeous complete palette!?
Plus, with Christmas approaching and all – that certainly didn’t helped much, as this gorgeous Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Palette would definitely make an awesome gift for everyone… Not just for a makeup addict like myself!

Not going to ramble more about how amazing quality these are as I already did raved about that in some of my previous posts ( here and here )… I will definitely write a separate review on the bronzing powder and the new highlighting shades later, next year.

I love this palette, I find that it is really subtle and easy to work with. What is that pretty pink furry thing? It complements the blushes perfectly!

Yeees! You’re absolutely right lovely! They’re fabulously formulated and such a pleasure to use! They’ve been on my face for the past couple of months! Kind of neglected my other face products because of them! 😅😅😅

The “furry thing” was a gift from a lovely blogger and friend here on WordPress, Serene from I’m Serene L. It’s a fur wrap to keep me worm this Winter! Can’t wait to wear it! Haha!

oh NO! RIP Ambient Lighting Blush palette! I suppose you could have saved it and used it in loose powder form? But yes, it definitely warrants your new acquisition!

I haven’t tried them yet but it’s on my wish list. Just seems SO pricey for what they are! I have too many powders / highlighters right now so maybe I will hold off on these for now!

Oh that is heartbreaking what happened to your blush palette, but glad it was an excuse for you to get this beautiful thang. I got it too during the Sephora sale and I absolutely love it! It was a great way to try the different shades.

The moment I picked up my Ambient Blush Palette from the floor and opened it I was breathless! I felt like screaming, crying, hitting something… I thought it was lost forever! Well, it actually was but I managed to put myself together and used it as it was… In crumbles!

Still loving that a lot but now with the Edit, as you said as well we have the chance to try more shades and a few of my all time favourites like Dim Light and Mood Exposure…
It’s the best option, especially if you haven’t tried much from the brand!

Oh no, how horrible you broke the blush palette…and how convenient as it is a great excuse for this new purchase!
I know we have debated about this one already and I still haven’t bought it yet still want to. It just looks divine, but it is a little expensive. I have decided to wait untill I can visit a counter in early january and if it is still there it was meant to be 😉

I wasn’t too keen on getting LE items precisely for the same reason!
But once I got THE one that I absolutely adored for its quality, shape and form ( which was last year’s LE Dior Highlighting Powder, from the Christmas Collection ) I never though like that again!

But I’m usually an optimistic person! I see the fuller part of the glass… Which in this case came in the opportunity to get this awesome palette! Which now I can keep intact for longer and use my old, shattered palette until it’s completely worn out!

I know it kind of costs an arm and a leg! I was choosing between this one and a Christian Leboutin lipstick! But yeah, I’m happy I settled for this one and I couldn’t be happier!
Definitely recommend this one!

That is one smashing product and I still remember about the broken pieces of the crumbled product which made my heart broken into pieces, which I already mentioned in your previous posts well before (sigh..).

Yeah! I kind of took my revenge with the Edit!
I kept telling myself I didn’t needed it but in the end I caved in and splurged on it! And boy, I’m I glad I did!
Even though they come in a smaller sizes they’re just the most awesome little, cutest, dinky beauty products ever!

I love my Dim Light! I got the single and I’m definitely going to hit pan. I already have a dent in the top! It’s so amazing!
