It’s the weekend, the most blessed part of the week, right?!
Let’s take it easy here, on annie’s beauty… as well and enjoy the colourful spring we’re having right now! Lots of pinks from the blooming flowers, some fresh greens from the leaves, some gold from the sun light… Yes, the spring weather was the inspiration for this post and I hope you’ll enjoy it, Beautiful!

- ESTÉE LAUDER Pure Color Envy Lipstick 210 Implusive in the picture above, and in the picture below I’m wearing 130 Intense Nude, since I’ve promised you some lip swatches for them in this post here.
I hope you’ll excuse the “unfortunate” natural lighting I had to work with the day I shoot these looks, but the best thing is that I haven’t applied any filters to these pictures! I hope you like them!

I definitely recommend Rosy Glow as it is the most universally beautiful blush I have ever tried on and wears perfectly! looks kind of scary-bright in the pan but it’s nothing close to that once applied! it really does adapt to the natural colouring of your skin, enhancing it! 😉 xx

Oh gosh…I usually like to tone it down a bit for Spring/Summer but I have to say pink lips are definitely a favourite this time of year.

yeah! me too! I sure need a change after all those dark vampy lips I usually wear in autumn and all the festive reds! 😉
even though this year I wans’t that much into reds for the holidays! haha!

this is one of the looks I always go for in spring, as it’s so easy to achieve and so wearable! how do you like it more? with the pink lipstick or with the other one?

Hmmm. Both. I like the red lip better, but the pink lip is probably something I would most likely wear.

the lipstick in the second look is Intense Nude, a brown-ish nude that’s a little different from all the brights and the pinks everyone goes for in spring! 😉

what are your go-to lip colours this season?

It really is a lovely colour! It’s a very different approach to a nude and it suits you so well! I have been using Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate in 45 non-stop since I bought it. It’s from Kate Moss’ nude collection for Rimmel and it’s beautiful. It’s neither exclusively a pink-toned nude nor a brown-toned nude. It’s just somewhere perfectly in the middle. Other than that, since we are heading into winter in my part of the world, I have been addicted to berry shades. 🙂

I haven’t had the chance to take a closer look at the Nude Rimmel lipsticks yet! I always seem to be detoured by some other product in the store! haha! but they sure sound lovely! I will write your suggestion down and check it out asap! 😉

as for The Sophisticate it’s definitely an essential that doesn’t have to miss from any makeup lover collection! it’s either this or the TF Cocoa Mirage, although the CT one is completely matte! it’s so very versatile and you’ll definitely get a lot of use out of it! 😉

Their new Envy Matte collection has some stunners in there, my faves are Stronger and Volatile. If you didn’t manage to get the Kendall J matte that was limited edition, then Volatile is very similar!
