Apivita, APIVITA Natural Serum Lifting with royal jelly & vitamin A, natrural ingredients 95%, review
I’m no stranger to Apivita products! I have used some of their skincare, body care and hair care items and had lovely results from them!
My favourites have to be their serums though! My absolute favourite serum is the Natural Serum HYDRATION with aloe & hyaluronic acid which I used at a certain point when my skin was acting out like never before and it put it back on track… But today I’m going to talk to you about a new discovery, the APIVITA Natural Serum LIFTING with royal jelly & vitamin A!
Our skin has practically a life of its own and needs a couple of ingredients to “survive”. Its main “attraction” is firmness which depends on collagen and elastin ( two of the ingredients I was telling you about! ). The worst enemy of our skin is time, while it is also affected by external factors, such as exposure to the sun. So, as the years go by, the skin looses its elasticity and firmness. The Apivita LIFTING Natural Serum is used both in cases of firmness loss and preventively, recovering the skin’s elasticity and youthfulness. Its basically what your skin needs to look younger in a tiny little bottle!
The Natural Serum LIFTING has a rich formula and contains 95% natural ingredients, amongst which: Greek Royal Jelly, Vitamin A, Linseed, Cistus, Honey, Wheat germ oil, Hyaluronic acid, Myrrh, sandalwood & rose essential oils, Green tea infusion all from certified organic cultivation and NO Parabens, Silicones, Propylene glycol, Mineral oil, Ethanolamine, Phthalates, PCM, NM. Basically a loot of good ingredients and no nasties.
Vitamin A is basically a group of retinols which is the main “cause” of the regeneration of skin cells, giving that freshness and lifting to the face, while royal jelly is anti-aging and wrinkle reducer, skin and wound healer ( heals acne, scars, cuts, and wounds ), anti-inflammatory, has antibiotic components, antibacterial agents, contains complex B vitamins, amino acids, fatty acids, minerals, and enzymes.
All these ingredients combined will lead to a more youthful-looking, fresh, hydrated and plumped skin and you’ll be noticing improvements with the first usages. This was my case!
Given the fact that Vitamin A is in fact retinol, make sure you use this serum every other day or less, especially you my Beautiful ladies with sensitive skins! And make also sure that you’re using your SPF as you should, daily.
Besides the benefits given by the ingredients, what I enjoyed the most is the lightweight texture of the product. It offers such an enjoyable experience when it touches your skin and it absorbs instantly leaving your face clear of any residues! Definitely excellent under makeup as well! It has a pleasant, faint smell that will not offend even the pickiest of noses! You know, products with natural ingredients in them tend to have strong, herbal, earty scents that most people would find unpleasant! Well, this is not the case!
This serum gained a special place in my skincare routine, that is a strong one now! I will definitely write a post dedicated to that, since my last one I remember writing a year a go!
Would you like to read more about that? Please let me know in the comments below! And make sure you share your favourite serums, as I’m always opened to trying new products.
Thanks for reading Beautiful, and as aways…
See you soon!
xx, Annie

I’d love to hear about your updated skincare routine! I think it’s always good to update and refine your routine as you discover new things – like this lovely serum! I’ve heard a lot of good things about royal jelly but I’ve not tried any products that contains it yet… I worry I might be allergic!

it is recommended to change your skincare routine every other 3 months ( I’m changing it according to the changes of the seasons ), that’s how much your skin supposedly needs to get used to certain products… not that that would be a bad thing anyway! but the pleasure of using new products is everthing inded! 😉

yes! royal jelly might trigger allergies but a patch test is definitely welcome to clear that problem! 😉 xx

absolutely lovely! I definitely recommend incorporating a good serum into your skincare routine if you haven’t already! for dry and de-hydrated skin I would recommend the Natural Serum HYDRATION with aloe & hyaluronic acid from Apivita. it’s just amazing for that! 😉

but if Apivita isn’t to easy to find where you live, then I’d definitely recommend an oil based serum like the one from Kiehl’s Midnight Concentrate or Aesop Fabulous Face Oil… and most important, start using a cleansing oil or an oil-based gel cleanser as well! it will make a world of a difference! 😉
have a lovey week! lots of xx

Being myself as an Indian, I’m so used to sandalwood even right from my childhood days and I could still rememberer my mum used to make sandalwood paste using the sandalwood stick and it smells so gorgeous and also, I use it as a face mask during my lazy sunday afternoons and the natural cool sensation that it gives is certainly worth a try.

really? I had no idea you could do that with sandalwood! I’m a silly European after all! haha! sandalwood is one of my favourite notes in a perfume though, so I bet that mask smells fantastic!… what are the benefits of using it?

Oh yes! Sandalwood paste smells divine but you have to hand grind it which is Definetely great workout for your hands and as well as the benefits are infinite.

First of all, it soothes your skin naturally and also, brings in brightness to your face and hence, in olden days, they used to apply this paste for 3 days before the bride gets married and hence, you could able to believe its tremendous power.

Besides, well before the innovation of sun creams, we have a tradition to soothe our skin naturally by applying this paste on our body to fight against the sun tan. Doesn’t it sound amazing? Clever, isn’t it?

absolutely! and it actually works? here we did that with a certain type of mud which besides that, it had therapeutical properties as well!

and I have to add that the scent of this serum is not overpowering at all! all the notes combined give such a faint, pleasant, “natural”/earthy scent to the product that won’t bother even the most sensitive noses! 😉

Well, moving along to the actual contents of the product, hyaluronic acid is one amazing ingredient which could retain the moisture content on your face for quite long time and it makes your face fresh and rejuvenated till the product is on the face.

that’s true my lovely! hyaluronic acid is a wonder ingredient indeed! and I found out that it works so well with my skin! probably with everybody’s else as well… but I can only talk from my experience! my skin feels so smooth and plumped after using it! fillers?! don’t need that!!!

Very true as I’ve been using moisturising serum that has HA as the main content and hence, I know it has a great working fact.

The serum looks amazing Annie. And I’m glad you mentioned the part about using SPF daily. It’s so important to keep you skin protected from the sun’s harsh harmful rays. Enjoy your week!

it’s quite a good one I have to admit! plus it also contins HA in it that makes our skin look lovely! the results are visible after a few uses, which is so lovely and encouraging!

plus, SPF is a must indeed… all year round! here’re we’re having snow most winters and the albedo of the snow amplifies the damaging filtered sun rays… so we can easily experience sun burns in winter time as well! not as bad as the ones in summer though!

I’ve tried a couple of things from Apivita in the past, some i liked some not so much. But then the store seems to have shut down in just 1-2 years in Singapore! This one sounds interesting though, so I’ll see if I can trace it down!
