In honour of the new Charlotte Tilbury Hot Line Lipsticks exciting summer launch ( save the date for 27th June 2016, exclusively at their Flagship Store in Covent Garden, London and online ), I have another lipstick review for you, from the K.I.S.S.I.G. Fallen From The Lipstick Tree line… Just to keep your excitement levels at bay!

Back onto today’s review!

This is Charlotte Tilbury’s K.I.S.S.I.N.G. Fallen From The Lipstick Tree Mini Lipstick Charms, a little ( and I literally mean it!? ) trio made of some of her most loved shades: the best seller B*tch Perfect, Penelope Pink and So Marilyn, which will be part of the new Hot Lips line. I already wrote a review on So Marilyn, along with two other gorgeous shades Coachella Coral and Velvet Underground ) sometime last year, so check that blog post here, for more info and swatches.

This little trio comes out every year around Christmas time, with the purpose of being the cutest stocking filler a lady can receive! Therefore you’ll see it in my 2015 Christmas Gift Guide, as one of my picks!

Alright now! So, there’s still B*tch Perfect and Penelope Pink left to review!

B*tch Perfect is one of the most unilversal nude lipsticks I have ever seen! No wonder it has a cult that follows it, in our beauty world! It’s so easy to wear, due to its neutral coaral-y shade, but it definitely shows a lot of pink hues and warm undertones – which make it more suitable to different skin tones!

Penelope Pink is another neutral shade, that despite of what its name suggests it can be described as a nude beige, with slight pink undertones! B*tch Perfect is definitely more pink than Penelope Pink, as you will be able so see soon in another blog post soon!

As for So Marilyn, it’s one of the most beautiful classic reds all women should wear at least once! But I already wrote a detalied review on it, with swatches and all… Read here!

They come in  the most comfortable, creamy formula that nourish the lips ( they’re not drying at all! ), as well as giving them a very satisfactory saturation in colour, being opaque with very few swipes ( on my pigmented lips like mine, that is! ). The finish is creamy, with a bit of a sheen which makes them more sensual! The scent is a very soft vanilary one, that fades after a minute or so…

We’re almost mid summer already and it’s just about the right moment to bring you my most loved/modt used items, this past season. So here you have my Spring 2015 Favourites!

My most loved makeup products were my lipsticks, this season as well! No surprise there, right!

The ones that had the most impact on me were the NARS Audacious Lipsticks which I adore and I wore almost every day for the past couple of months! My favourites were Juliette, Natalie and Michyio!

[ Well, I loved them this much that I had a marathon week of posts featuring a NARS Audacious Lipstick, every day of the week! Start reading about that here, with Monday of course! ]

When I wasn’t wearing any of these, the one I had on my lips was the Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G. Lipstick in Coachella Coral, a lovely Spring colour, amazing all by itself or over another Charlotte Tilbury favourite of mine – the Lip-Cheat Lip Liner in Pink Venus!

My base of choice was another one from NARS! The new and gorgeous All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation, a surprising discovery that has become a staple in my makeup routine in the shortest time!

Another makeup item and one I came back to this Spring as well was the Dolce and Gabbana blush in #33 Rosebud! This is such a lovely natural flush of colour, excellent for a natural, fresh look!

To take care of my skin I really enjoyed the First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser and the combination of the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate as a serum and the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream.

My perfume of choice was Rancé’s Rose de Rose, a “mature” rose scented perfume.

My makeup tools I enjoyed the most were, another no surprise, my Hakuhodo Eye Brushes especially my J5523 and J142.

I’m here today with a new post on the amazing Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipsticks. They are Coachella Coral, Velvet Underground and So Marilyn and you have to admit that there is a colour for everyone.

[ I know you see five lipsticks in this picture but I already wrote a review on the nude ones that I own, Confession and Stoned Rose. Still, check out how they glisten in those sun beams! Preeetyy! ]

They are part of Charlotte Tilbury‘s K.I.S.S.I.N.G Fallen From The Lip Stick Tree signature lipstick range inspired by modern icons like Kate Moss, Cara Delevigne, Adriana Lima etc.

The Fallen From The Lip Stick Tree lipstick collection contains an innovative anti-oxidant from The Lipstick Tree* that naturally protects lips from sun radiations and external pollution factors and leaves your lips cashmere soft and irresistible. Created with a blend of special waxes they allow a smooth application over the contours of your lips. The light-diffusing pigments will impact an amazing luminosity, to your lips capturing the light and reflecting it back in such a clever manner that your lips will be “pert”, full-bodied” and “ultra-brilliant”.

Now let’s get to the fun part!

Coachella Coral is an amazing soft coral, lovely for Spring and for those who are a bit scared of wearing them! This one has to be one of my favourites colours for this Spring and I’m enjoying it more than everything else lately!

Looks kind of similar with one of the Charlotte Tilbury MATTE Revolution Lipsticks I also love and wear a lot, for the same reasons! I’m talking about Amazing Grace!

Velvet Underground is another colour I enjoy wearing lately! It’s the brightest and the”naughty” one from all the K.I.S.S.I.N.G. shades I own! Oh, and I love it so! It reminds me of my fairly recent and well loved NARS Audacious Lipstick in Michiyo. It’s pretty close to that, just a bit more muted and less fuchsia though.

Velvet Underground is definitely a bright fuchsia pink; what tempers it are the cold blue undertones that give it a more soft and “serious” look! Great, unique colour!

And of course, I had to have the gorgeous red – So Marilyn! Such an amazing name!

So Marilyn is such a timeless, classy and universal shade! You were looking for a retro red, THE red to have in your collection… Search no more because this is it! This classic cool-toned red colour is everything you were looking for! You know my #obsession with reds, so I definitely had to add it to my ever-growing lipstick collection! Plus, it wears the name of one of the most beautiful women on the planet, Marilyn Monroe!

The quality is the same Charlotte Tilbury had us used with already: rich pigmentation, opaque colour coverage in just one swipe, it goes on evenly and smoothly dressing the lips with the most beautiful satin finish. And the packaging is absolutely fabulous! ( scroll up to have another look at them! )

A real pleasure to wear these lipsticks and even to just stare at them, in an uncontrollable awe!

Loving Nudes #5: CHARLOTTE TILBURY’s Confession, Stoned Rose and the infamous Lip Cheat Lip Liner in Pillow Talk

Not a month passing by without talking about my gorgeous nude discoveries!

My latest ones are part of the Charlotte Tilbury‘s K.I.S.S.I.N.G Fallen From The Lip Stick Tree signature lipstick range which was inspired by modern icons like Kate Moss, Cara Delevigne, Adriana Lima etc.

Confession is a new, limited edition lipstick that came out in fall, last year as part of Charlotte Tilbury Supermodel Holiday makeup collection. It’s a dusky, tawny, nude; a muted warm pink with slight hints of peach, enriched with subtle gold particles which will give this shade a particular festive vibe, making it special compared with the other nudes of the range.

Thanks to the amazing ingredients the lipstick it’s easy to apply, the coverage is almost opaque and it feels lightweight on the lips. It really feels cashmere soft and hydrating as well!

Stoned Rose is more of a warm, modest pink-brown shade, very natural and soft on my pigmented lips if applied in one swipe, and with some more character if intensified with another application.

With the same formula as Confession, Stoned Rose feels also very smooth on the lips, it’s not drying at all, it applies evenly and it doesn’t “gather” in the creases of my lips.

How I like to wear these two colours is mainly applied over the “infamous” Charlotte Tilbury‘s Lip Cheat Re-Shape & Re-Size Lip Liner in Pillow Talk, an amazing my lips but better lip liner, so creamy, easy to apply, non-drying at all and so, so long-lasting.
