I wasn’t the biggest fan of lip liners… You know me! I’m kind of lazy and always in a hurry so, even though I give certain advice makeup and beauty-related tricks and tips, I rarely follow everything to the letter myself!…
But everything changed the moment the infamous Charlotte Tilbury Re-Shape & Re-Size Lip Liner, in Pillow Talk made its way into my otherwise quiet and tranquil life ( not! )… and absolutely roked it completely! Then everything went down the hill from there – as you can see from the picture, without any trace of a doubt!
So, I have let’s start with…
Pink Venus – gorgeous name, by the way! – a beautiful peachy coral shade, an excellent shade to wear under your peachy, bright summer lip colours! The peach undertone in it doesn’t transfer too obvious because I have quite pigmented lips, but sure looks sensual, youthful and fresh, especially with a gloss on top, as you can see in this post here.
Pillow Talk – the most “talked” about from the entire Lip-Cheat line, has its own cult that follows it in our beauty world. No need to say a lot about it, except that it is probably the best selled Charlotte Tilbury makeup item, an excellent pink-ish nude colour, that works wonders on every skin type! Therefore you can hardly wonder why it’s so popular! Go see how it looks on me, here.
Iconic Nude is the newest member of the annie’s beauty… lip liner family!It’s definitely a true brown nude, without any traces of pink undertones in it, a warm colour so easy to wear under different lipsticks.
Hollywood Honey somehow warns you about my forever latent ( at the moment! ) obsession with dark lipsticks. This would look amazing in autumn, paired with a similar rusty coloured lipstick, or even with certain dark browns like I wore it here with my NARS Audacious Lipstick in Deborah, or the Estée Lauder Matte in Desirous.
Berry Naughty is the most gorgeous dark berry-toned lip liner I wore! It matches to perfection with the Charlotte Tilbury MATTE Revolution in Glastonberry, which you can see here, but also with the NARS Audacious Ingrid.
The LIP CHEAT RE-SHAPE & RE-SIZE LIP LINERS come in the most the velvety-soft formula, that glides onto the lips without any pressure needed, feel extremely hydrating on the lips… But I have to warn you that as deeper the colour goes, the hydration decreases noticeably! Nothing a good lip moisturizer cannot fix!, making them look more voluptuous, sensual and naturally gorgeus! The colour is really pigmented, matte and opaque, very long lasting on the lips and when it fades, it does it in the most uniform way, thankfully!
Don’t ask me which one is my favourite, as I would definitely say that I adore them all for different reasons and I wear them equally, in different occasions! My most worn have to be the nudes though! Pillow Talk and Pink Venus… But Iconic Nude comes faster from the back!
