New in: TOM FORD picks as of late…

It’s been a while since I saw a product and I instantly felt “the urge” to take it home with me! But if you know me, and how much I love my little Tom Ford collection of goodies, this little haul won’t come as a surprise!… I can’t resist Tom Ford Beauty, for the life of me!!!

1. Just to take it out of the way, I finally caved in and bought the Tom Ford Lip Color Matte in 09 First Time. I had my eyes on this one ever since I got my other 4(?!) shades, but I always thought that First Time was such a common nude, nothing special about it… And how wrong was I?!… Since I’m loving a nude, everyday, effortless lip at any time, it was just a matter of time until I caved in and get this one as well!… Anyways there was me, always picking the boldest new lip options and leaving the safest ones for later on!?!?!!!…
2. Speaking about boldest picks… The next one is definitely bold… and daring… and rest assured that you’ll make a statement wearing it! It’s the Tom Ford Patent Lip Finish Lip Color 07 Erotic, an amazing fuchsia-pink with the glossiest finish I have ever seen on a lip product! It’s even glossier than the Dior Addict Fluid Sticks Dior came out a while back… And the name of it is everything! Expect a review coming soon!
3. The cream eyeshadows from Tom Ford come probably with the best formula in the world… I recently wrote a review comparing the Limited Edition Golden Peach to another amazing formula that comes in a stick rather than a pot – the By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Pink Quartz which is the perfect dupe for Golden Peach ( read that here! )!… Point is everybody’s raving about Tom Ford‘s cream eyeshadows in Spice and Platinium, so leave it to Annie to pick the one shadow that didn’t impressed basically anyone… I simply adore the Cream Color for Eyes in 03 Sphinx! It’s not pigmented but it sure has an absolutely fabulous golden-pink duochrome sheen, that applied as a finishing touch in the middle of the lid creates the most beautiful, luminous, out-of-this-world-gorgeous effect! Couldn’t be happier with my choice! Either way, Spice is next! Uppss!!!

Birthday Presents… CHARLOTTE TILBURY

Lately, I kept bombarding your Instagram feeds with a lot of Charlotte Tilbury makeup! And there’s a reason for all that! Besides the fact that Charlotte Tilbury‘s makeup is beyond amazing, what I kept from you as my little secret is that as a part of my birthday presents I had the chance to get some more of these goodies!

It’s my first time ordering directly from her official website and I have to admit that the whole experience was delightful. Order received and processed on the same day, shipped the following day, arrived “in the middle of nowhere” in 5 days as stated, with tracking order service and all…

Plus my order came in this beautiful packaging, so carefully wrapped up that I felt it was a shame to ruin it… So I had to Instagram it first obviously, then dig in for the goodies!

The first two items I remember ordering were these two gorgeous eyeshadow palettes. I already owned two The Sophisticate – my first ever Charlotte Tilbury purchase and The Dolce Vita, which was basically the only thing I wore on my lids throughout the holidays. So I got The Vintage Vamp which was on my mind since I got The Dolce Vita ( I intent to do a comparison post featuring the two, already here ), and The Uptown Girl – another one on my wishlist for the longest time.

The quality of Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadows is beyond amazing: buttery smooth and soft, they blend effortlessly on the lids with minor fall-outs, especially from those serious glitters out there.

Then, I’ve never tried the K.I.S.S.I.N.G Fallen From The Lip Stick Tree Lipsticks therefore I had to get me some. Obviously I had to have the nudes first. I am truly impressed with the formula of these, and above all I’ve never used to like “the Kylie Jenner lip” on me… Clearly I hadn’t found THE COLOUR to give me that!… Until now! Here you have pictured the limited edition Confession and the permanent Stoned Rose.

And of course, I had to have a few more shades of the MATTE Revolution Lipstick range. I already own and reviewed Sexy Sienna and it is, by far, the best matte lipstick formula I’ve came across. In this picture you have, top to bottom Lost Cherry, Amazing Grace and Walk of Shame. 

Now I’m waiting for some very, very, very hyped matte lipsticks to arrive in the mail, and I can’t wait to see how those compare to these Charlotte Tilbury little gems!

As you might have seen in my previous Charlotte Tilbury haul, when I placed that order I somehow deleted the Lip Cheat Re-Shape & Re-Size Lip Liner in Pillow Talk from my cart. Clearly I didn’t made that mistake twice! Haha! Gorgeous product! One of the few that really lives up to the hype around it, in my opinion!

By the time I’m writing this post I’ve already tried most of the products here and as an overall impression let me just tell you this: Charlotte Tilbury makeup is one of the best birthday presents a beauty lover can ever receive!

New in… NARS #narsissist

How much I wished to be able to use the #narsissist in my Instagram photos you have no idea! 

Now that Selfridges.com did me this immense joy and made shipping available for some selected NARS items, this is the final result! A bunch of eyeshadows and two beautiful, beautiful blushes!

I’ll take the blushes out of the way first, as they were the first that went into my cart!

So, without second thoughts, I picked Deep Throat, one of NARS‘ cult favourite blushes among the beauty addicts all-over the world. It’s one of their most best selling blushes, right next to Orgasm ( which btw wasn’t available ).

And my second pick was this gorgeous highlighting, gold hued blush with an absolutely gorgeous name: Albatross. Can’t wait to use this one too!

My favourite makeup God, Peter Philips from Dior ( I’m sure you already know who I’m talking about if you followed my makeup obsessive rambles for a while! ) used this amazing pink-toned highlighting Diorblush in #536 Peach Splendor for the makeup look on the Ready-to-Wear Spring 2015 Colection. I instantly felt in love with the colour and the soft, diffused effect on the cheeks ( You can read the whole post about the entire Dior S/S 2015 makeup collection here).

I have high hopes that with Albatross I will get the same soft effect: a golden, diffused touch!

As you can see I went a bit eyeshadow crazy too! According to the reviews I red online, these are amazing as well! So I got myself “a few” to try out!

Of course I went for neutrals first! Alhambra – a beautiful little palette I see myself reaching for everyday. Cordura, another beautiful eyeshadow palette, the colours are more dark and intense, excellent for a smokey eye. Alhambra and Cordura coordinate themselves in colour so a combination between the two is most likely to happen!

The last eyeshadow palette I went for was in a bolder colour combination! It has this name that always puts a smile on my face: Mélusine. Behind this lovely name there’s also a funny character… But I will tell you more about it when I will write a proper review.

I also picked two gorgeous single eye shadows, one in a not-so-surprisingly taupe colour Ashes to Ashes and another one, Mekong, in the most gorgeous deep, dark chocolate brown, with iridescent specks of glitter… just because it was too gorgeous not to! […]

This was it… For now!

Next I would love to get my hands on a couple of their new Audacious Lipsticks Collection lipsticks ( I currently have 5 on my list!? ), but most of the shades I want are only for English buyers with the Buy&Collect program or they’re currently out of stock.

New In… CHARLOTTE TILBURY Makeup

Fair warning! This is NOT a review post!

I thought I would start ths blog post by kindly warning you that this is not my usual review with swatches… This is a Haul type of post I have never done before. But stay assured proper reviews on all the products featured here will be up soon… Just allow me to form a proper opinion and to share MY experience with them…

As you can easily see, things went down the hill a “little” bit for the month of November… After posting this photo on my Instagram account, it came to my mind that the amount of blushes featured there wasn’t enough for my needs; well, liking mostly!… So I decided to browse for more…

I always wanted to try the Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Swish and Pop Blushers and now was the right time to get me one… or two ( actually! ).

[ UPDATE on my blush collection: I ended up buying 7 more, from different brands, a certain Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette already reviewed, included! Now I have enough blushes that if they were money I could save a small country in recession ]

While browsing through Charlotte Tilbury makeup section on Selfridges website ( btw excellent service and customer care! ), I thought to myself: ” Oh well, I’ve always wanted to buy The Dolce Vita Palette Colour-Coded Eye Shadow Palette!” So that gorgeous little one went to my basket too.

And since my lovely friend Jackie, A Vibrant Day here on WordPress, started me on the Matte Revolution Lipsticks, I thought to myself why not getting Sexy Sienna?! Gorgeous, gorgeous colour and quality…

I clearly remember that I also added to my cart the Lip Liner in Pillow Talk but I must have removed it, because it was nowhere in my order… I must be loosing it already! ( I’m getting one year older next month! What can I do?! )

So this is my Charlotte Tilbury ” little ” haul!
