BITE Beauty is one of those brands that I’ve always heard so much about and always placed it high on my wish list…
Unfortunately, BITE Beauty products are not readily available here in my country, but thank goodness I was able to make some wonderful friends through my blogging experience that were kind enough to help me get my hands on some products from this brand! Janet and Josie, it’s you I’m talking about ladies! Thank you for the thoughtful gift you sent me last Summer! You are the best!

Janet knows me so well, so when I saw the nude choice she made for me I instantly knew I had to feature it in my “Loving Nudes” series. So here it is BITE Beauty‘s High Pigment Pencil, in shade Sablé.
Sablé is one of the nudes that suit my complexion the most – a light beige on a rosy “background”, with a hint of warm undertones in it. It is made with “a double dose of premium micronised pigments” which translates in a surprisingly pigmented finish for how creamy its texture is, and and with “super antioxidant Resveratrol, which fights free radicals with potent anti-aging benefits”.
So, you have a product that not only delivers a “modern matte look” ( quite opaque in finish but with a bit of a sheen at the same time ), but also a lip treatment that feels very hydrating on the lips.
Being a creamy product don’t expect it to be an extremely long-lasting one! You do need to reapply during the day but when it fades, it fades evenly and it doesn’t gather in any fine lines or slip and slide all over the place!
It’s one of the most forgiving lipsticks I own in terms of application, as you can apply it when you’re on the go without any obvious mistakes or the aid of a lip liner underneath. And the fact that it comes in one of those modern twist-up pencils, makes everything even easier!
I do wear it with a lip liner when I feel like prolonging its lasting power, and my lip liners of choice are Charlotte Tilbury‘s Pillow Talk and Iconic Nude, or the Dior Universal Lip Liner that goes with everything!
– as you can see from the picture, Jan and Jot sent me this adorable mini BITE for VIB Rouge red lipstick too and I can’t wait to wear it these upcoming holidays. I think it’s one of those perfect festive reds… And the formula promises to be as good as the one in the lip pencil: luminous, creamy and pigmented. You should check your local Sephora, maybe you’re lucky enough to find it too!
So what’s your favourite nude at the moment?
As always, thank you so much for reading and see you soon, Beautiful!
xx, Annie
