By Terry, By Terry Baume de Rose, By Terry Rose Balm Gloss, dior, Dior Lip Glow Colour Reviver Balm, Dior Lip Maximizer, Omorovicza, Omorovicza Perfecting Lip Balm, review
This month was all about some amazing lip products here on annie’s beauty… The Tom Ford Lips&Boys, the Charlotte Tilbury MATTE Revolution Lipsticks, another of my Perfect Nudes discoveries also from Charlotte Tilbury, my favourite lip liners at the moment… And some new ones that are yet to be published, which I’m so excited about!
As you’ll might anticipate, a lot of lip swatches were envolved in the process so my lips kind of had to suffer too! That corroborated with “the Mother of all Colds” => my lips were almost an absolute mess!
What I used to put them back on track were: my holy grail lip treatment By Terry Baume de Rose, in pot form and for when I’m on the go I also used the By Terry Baume de Rose Crystal. When I didn’t used those, I turned to my second best the lip treatment of choice the Omorovicza Perfecting Lip Balm, an amazing product I recently discovered. The last but not the least was my Dior Addict Lip Glow Colour Reviver Balm and the Dior Addict Lip Maximizer Collagen Active, which are permanent “inhabitants” of my bag and I take them with me wherever I go. How many lip products do I currently have in my bag?! You don’t wanna know!
The By Terry Baume de Rose is until now the best lip treatment I have ever used. It’s a thick, rose scented lip balm that I use mainly as an overnight treatment!
Of course, like all very hyped products the Baume de Rose has both positive and negative reviews… That it’s too thick ( what would you expect from a lip treatment though!? ), that the rose scent is overpovering… I really love it and I feel that after using it at night, the following day my lips feel amazing! Plus it’s such a versatile product! It can be used on your nails and cuticles, on your elbows or any dry patches! Be careful with how much you sladder on because it’s not the cheapest thing ever! But the 10g little jar lasts me for a good couple of months! I’m On my 3rd one already!
Last year By Terry launched her iconic Baume de Rose in 6 tinted versions ( read more about that here ).
The one in lip gloss form, the By Terry Baume de Rose Crystal comes with me in my bag, everywhere. It’s more of a day-use friendly product, easy to apply when you’re on the go and your lips need a bit of a pick me up!
The Omorovicza Perfecting Lip Balm is the most recent lip care product I got! I got it with this amazing offer. But don’t worry! Omorovicza periodically comes up with amazing offers and discounts! You only need a subscription to their website to be the first to know… Or, you can keep reading or subscribe to annie’s beauty…! Haha!
This lip treatment is the perfect product to revive and nourish dry lips. With shea butter, eucalyptus and hyaluronic spheres, the gently tingling balm leaves lips fuller, softer and smoother. It has as main ingredients: hyaluronic filling spheres, omega 6 ceramide, virgin plum oil. It’s minty and delicious, and highly effective! Already a favourite of mine!
The Dior Addict Lip Glow Colour Reviver Balm is another long time love of mine, but I’m sure everybody knows and loves it as well! This is a sensationally sheer lip balm that responds to the color chemistry of your own lips to create a shade uniquely yours by enhancing your own natural lip color. It also makes your lips look more plumped, moisturized, and most important because I mainly use it during the day due to the easy application, adds in a bit of a sun protection factor!
Dior Addict Lip Maximizer Collagen Active is a revolutionary lip treatment that stimulates collagen synthesis and restructures lips within 15 days. The incredible volume effect due to the key ingredient in its formula – the collagen, can be easily seen from the first application though, and gives a long-term freshness to the lips.
That’s why the Dior Addict Lip Glow Colour Reviver Balm and the Dior Addict Lip Maximizer Collagen Active are the backstage essential beauty secret for the sensual lips, the Dior models rocked in the presentations where Peter Philips– the creative and image director of Christian Dior Makeup worked his magic ( see here, here ).
Recently Charlotte Tilbury launched two lip care products too, a lip scrub ( the Lip Love Lip Renewing Honeybee Scrub ) and a lip treatment ( the Lip Magic Rejuvenating, Smoothing Propolis Balm ) which I’m dying to try! Definitely will be on my order summary of my next purchase!
What are your lip saviours for the colder months, or in general?
Lots of xx,
Annie

Hi Angela! I had the Hourglass Oil Treatment too and I loved it… while it lasted! I mean I went through it in a matter of weeks! And thinking that it wasn’t the only lip product I used it seemed to me that I finished it too fast! Good product nonetheless.

Great post Annie!! All of those products look so nice!! I love rose scents!! ❤ ❤ A couple of my favorite balms are the EOS ones that sell her in the U.S. Not sure if they have them here but the flavors they come in are fantastic. My current fave tastes like a blueberry muffin! lol. I also love plain old Carmex. That always gets my lips back into shape. For an exfoliator I use Elf’s Lip Exfoliator. It’s very easy on the wallet lol. Beautiful pictures as always!! ❤ xoxo

Haha! Merci beaucoup ma belle! There’s no place like home! 😁😁😁
I definitely recommend the Baume de Rose if not for how amazing it makes your lips feel, at least for how versatile this little product can be!
Dior is another amazing option! And I’m sure that once you’ve tried it you’ll always have it in your bag!
Lots of bisous ma belle!

Hi my lovely Janet! We’re actually having an unexpected spring sunny day here in Bucharest! Which put me in such a good mood, in spite of this awful cold that doesn’t want to leave me alone!😩😔
I definitely recommend the Dior balm it’s such a lovely product! Can’t wait to try the new Charlotte Tilbury lip care range too! Some say it’s amazing, but some say it’s kind of average and too expensive for what it is! I find that even more intriguing! Haha!
Have a wonderful weekend guys and lots of 😘😘😘

Oh no that really stinks you haven’t fully recovered from that bad cold 😔 The Springy weather I hope helps and stays 🌷 I will definitely be getting the Dior balm, I like that it enhances my own lip color 😃 Yes I have heard the same thing so I will hold off on the scrub since I have too many but I go through balms so much since they are my second favorite thing after lipsticks. I hope to read your thoughts on both CT scrub and balm ❤️

Great post. I haven’t tried the By Terry balm, but it looks really good. The Dior Lip Addict is a beautiful product, I tried it at a makeup counter and wish I had brought it. My Burts Bees lip balm and Clarins Lip Perfectors work pretty well though (on my blog.) I hope you’re having a lovely weekend so far xx

The Clarins Lip Perfectors are one of my favourite lip product ever! Ther was a time, when they first came out a few years ago, when I was literally obsessed with them! I also have #06 Rosewood in a lip combo/review type of post her on the blog.
And you definitely need that Dior Balm in your life, until Dior unexpectedly decides to discontinue it they way they did with the Creme de Rose. sighs
Have a great weekend and lots of xx

The Dior guys, needless to say 😉 They really saved me this year, even though it was less cold than usual in Milano. I checked the ByTerry, but I’m still loving the Dior duo and I have no reason to make a change. I also think the balms you apply with the finger tips are less clean and hygienic than the usual stick, especially when out of home…
